Straight talk on what we collect, why, and what we don't do with it.

Land Cruiser Expert (LCE) is a subscription concierge service operated by Land Cruiser Heaven LLC, based in Maryland, USA. When we say "we," "us," or "LCE" in this policy, we mean Land Cruiser Heaven LLC operating the landcruiserexpert.com website and service.
Account information you provide. Name, email, phone number, location, timezone, communication preferences. All optional beyond email and name.
Vehicle information you provide. Year, model, series, mileage, VIN, nickname, photos, service history, modifications, and goals. This is the core of what the service uses to help you.
Payment information. Handled entirely by Square — we never see or store your full card number. We only receive the card brand, last four digits, and expiration date so we can show them back to you on your membership dashboard.
Authentication data. Handled by Clerk, our identity provider. Clerk manages your password and session tokens; we never see your password.
Communications with us. Support threads, notes, decisions you submit, and any attachments you share are stored so we can pick up where we left off in your next conversation.
Analytics (opt-in). If you accept analytics cookies via the banner on your first visit, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate site usage — page views, scroll depth, referring source, device type. We use Google's Consent Mode v2, so nothing is stored on your device unless you accept.
Diagnostic error data. If a JavaScript error occurs on the site while you're using it, we log the error message, page URL, and (if you're signed in) your user ID so we can fix bugs. Rate-limited and never shared with third parties.

We use one category of cookie: analytics cookies, only if you accept them on your first visit. If you reject, nothing is stored beyond what's technically necessary for the site to function (your login session with Clerk, your theme preference).
You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser storage for this domain and reloading — the banner will reappear.
We keep your account and vehicle data for as long as your membership is active. If you cancel, we keep it for 12 months in case you return (this is common — Cruiser projects come in seasons). After 12 months of inactivity, or on request, we permanently delete your account, vehicles, threads, and photos.
Payment records are retained per US tax and audit requirements (typically 7 years).

LCE is US-based. If you're visiting from outside the United States, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US. If you're an EU/EEA/UK/Swiss resident, our lawful basis for processing your data is (a) contract performance (running your membership) and (b) legitimate interest (running the business and improving the product). You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
LCE is not directed at anyone under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from minors. If you think a minor has signed up, email us and we'll delete the account.
If we change anything meaningful, we'll email active members with a plain-language summary before the change takes effect and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
